Using a giant electromagnet those crazy japanese can "read" your brain's visual cortex and project an image. Currently these images are basic black and white. The limiting factor is the technology, but the implications are endless. We already know which parts of the brain are responsible for emotions, memory, decision making.
Decoding the human genome was just the beginning. The Human Brain Mapping project undertakes to map the 100 billion neurons with 3 degrees of seperation between each.

Being able to paint a picture with your mind, project people's hallucinations. Kinda makes TV obsolete.
