Seems like some people make a lot of money by fooling others and selling useless therapy machines. That's not really the Royal gentlemen way...
Btw, the discovery that viruses can cause cancer was already made by Rous in 1911. However, cancer is just a term for multiple mutations that lead to unlimited growth etc. There are approximately 300 different forms of cancer. Some few are caused by viruses but most are not. An interesting finding is that one third of all cancers can be causally linked to smoking. (and could be prevented) detox anybody?
